So LittleFashBird has gone and got a brand new do'. After a *year* of convincing myself that I'm too busy, tired, stressed, pale, completely clueless about photography...(The list really does go ON) I've finally got over myself and realised blogging is actually something I love. I WANT to completely over-share everything I'm currently craving with anyone who is bloody lovely enough to give a damn; and if it means perfecting my posing in front of a willing audience, I've decided that's really OK. I'm not a model, I have and never will claim to be one, but I am however a keen creator; obsessed with fashion, the written word and the putting-together of pretty things, popping outfits on me seems to be a fab way of realistically showing whatever tip, trend or piece I'm wanting to share. Alongside moodboard style posts, wishlists, weekly wants and insider snippets of my day-to-day work (the types of posts I take the time out of Instagram stalking to actually read) I'll be showing whoever is bothered a lil' bit of me and my style. And writing about it.

So today, I'm talking bombers. A jacket-buying ninja, I believe that an abundant, curated collection of outer layers is the key to always feeling effortlessly put together. Dressing in the morning is an utter DELIGHT for me when my jacket selection is on point. The (perfect) leather one will change your world, a classic, tailored black blazer will transform a white tee and jeans (just add heels, delicate jewels and a red lip), and something suede-y is pretty much capsule now (tan, grey, mustard, black...). As is the bomber. Season-less these days really, it's street/sporty vibe lends a level of urban 90s throwback that really is just so hot right now. Whether more utility, or clean and simple-Scandi, it's a piece your wardrobe kind of, well, needs. Massive this Spring/Summer, in fluid-fits and I'm sure a plethora of light, blushed tones, shiny satins & airy silks, this Topshop one for me was a must. In that divine rusty, rose-gold, Acne-worthy hue (I DIE), it takes a style that's predominantly masculine (love) and brings it smack bang into SS16.

This is how I'd wear it for day; styled against blushed nudes and denim, and finished with clean kicks and a choker. For night, it'll look delish against lace and leathers, super-sleek on top of a slim-but-slouchy tailored trouser, Stella style.
