The whole hoodie under, well, anything right now is nowt new I know, but I'm all of a sudden cottoning on to how I'd personally rock* it (*espesh for you Giles/G-dog, if you're reading. Lol). Not only is the above layering sitch pretty practical warmth wise, but it combines that delightful got-to-own Marant check with the loveliest spring tones AND a touch of super-cool 'street'. I'm obsessed with blazers; I think they're one of THE most essential wardrobe anchors, legit transforming caj into cool/chic in a second, and adding that layer of (body) confident magic over all maybe-too-tight/revealing/much top halves. Most likely rn to be seen over a slogan tee on a #fblogger street style shoot near you. Or on me. That's my kinda high/low look in a nutshell. And this lil' Monday round-up combines a few utterly delish newbs I've got my eye on, in a combo that feels fresh, but still me - a look I'm basically silently obsessed with creating. ASAP.

Happy first of Feb huns! As if it's February though?? Mind. Blown. So today I bring you another SUPER exciting post, all about my girl DP and I's second Style Series look book offering which went live over on her YouTube channel on Sunday. Woop-dee-woop. Our first one, which launched the collab and beginning of our monthly series, was all about those festive party vibes; giving you ALL the styling inspo (and lean-leg flashing) using pieces from a curated collection of some of our ultimate High Street and online favs. Showing you how to create those key must-have looks that are SO hot rn, on a budget you can like, actually afford. Each month I'm parting with my little pearls of styling wisdom in order to style-up Danielle and her body of dreams, and giving YOU guys all my tips and tricks on the latest trends and themes you've all asked us to tackle. Using pieces you can go and buy RIGHT NOW (via the links in the description box underneath the video). Boom.
In contrast to the first vid, this month's outfits are totally dedicated to these serious winter chills, and how to combat them whilst still maintaining/nailing the sass. Styled around key pieces and combos your winter wardrobe needs, as well as hot styles and palettes to consider for the months ahead. I'm obsessed with DP in this shoot - I mean you'll know what I mean when you watch the video, but seriously. She looks beyond - and obvs not JUST because of the styling. Lol. Below are a few of the exclusive stills taken on the shoot of all the 5 looks. Shot by Kat of Kats Films, who totally and utterly smashed the brief again.
Watch the video below to see all the styling tips and tricks for each look, and to shop shop shop each piece. Enjoy!

Thank you for reading and SO hope you love it.
After professing my love for all things 17' spring green in my previous moodboard post (hella' lotta' palm-tree inspo in there too), I thought I'd show you all how I've been adding a touch of the tone to my everyday with the most delicious of slinky sage-hued slips. A spaghetti-strapped SLIP, I hear you say, but it's FRICKING winter out there?! (And let me say, up here in Manc, it's legit as unpredictable as it damn well gets. Think damp hair-like-a-poodle fog meets hurricane meets torrential downpours meets -5 temps meets snow. In a day. Uh huh. Ready for anything now, me) It's all in the layering, huns. Do not think twice about popping that silky NYE piece over a pair of straight-leg-distressed ankle denims and a white, grey or slogan band tee; super-cool, comfy might I add, and a key styling trick for now, it's a fresh way to style-up summer pieces that will only continue to drop and taunt, and those you want to wear, but abso can't because, well, it's January and you're not mental.
As far as green goes, play with different tones of denim, shining patent finishes and battered leathers. Pop a skinny green polo neck on with that cosy oversized shearling you're living in and some light washed denims, or a pretty printed blouse under that staple blazer you love. One subtle pop against retro denim blues and some fresh, slick and oh so sassy textures. Beaut.
